Terrible Car Week!!!

I have had a TERRIBLE car week! Tuesday morning, for the first time ever, I blew a tire while I was going 60 miles an hour down the highway. Luckily, the girls were not in the car with me. I then sat on the side of the highway for two hours until my car was back up and running. It was also FREEZING cold that morning!! Not one police officer or highway assist drove by during that time! And, only one man stopped to check on me...and he didn't offer to help me! He just "wanted to make sure I was alright". Lol...Okay???? I had to call the hotel and have someone come out and help me. And he drove to the wrong side of town first! Geez Louise!

Then, today. Riley and I ran out of gas on south Broadway! Also, the first time this has ever happened to me!! I had no idea I was even low on gas! Lol...I apparently don't look at my gas gauge very often. So, I pulled Riley out of the car in the middle of the road (which confused her and she started asking "Mommy, why are we getting out in the middle of the road? We're not to Grandma's house yet!" I quickly replied with "I thought we would walk the rest of the way to Grandma's today" :-) Luckily, I ran out of gas about half a block from Quik Trip. So, Riley and I then proceeded to walk over there in the RAIN/SLEET!!!!!!! I called Riley's Grandma while we were walking to Quik Trip and she had Laura come and pick Riley up at Quik Trip...Thank You Grandma Susan!!! Then, to top it all off, once I got the gas in the car and I get back in...I quickly notice that Riley's orange juice has spilled ALL OVER the passenger seat! Giant pool of orange juice!! Good times...good times.
Oh, yeah, and today is Friday the 13th. Figures!!!!

We got to babysit Lucy!

We got to babysit Haley's cousin Lucy last night. Well, until about 8:45 anyway. Her mommy won't let her stay the night! It was so much fun...Haley just loves her baby cousin! They all played on the computer, Lucy kept trying to push Haley out of the chair! Here are some pictures of our babysitting advevntures...enjoy!

There is also a cool subway underground where you can walk to just about anywhere in town!
